WOW! We have an interesting history! By the looks of it, we could've have died five times already but we're still here (and in fourth position on the ladder)!

Another great article on the Swans.

I love the bit about the Vic clubs wanting us to survive just to spite Carlton!

Makes you wonder if Sydney would have survived if Eddie was around in those days at the Wobbles

I remember those days vividly (just think of Zion in Matrix Reloaded) and sadly the only time the Swans ever made the news, it was the front pages - never the back.

How far we have come - Never in my lifetime would I have thought it possible.

You mean we could have been barracking for CARLTON??!!??
Just as well the other clubs saw it the same way!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I realise that whilst we have not been the most successful club in the history of the afl/vfl we have definitely been one of the most interesting. Even though times have not always been easy at the Swans it has been a great ride to say the least and the boys have always managed to keep us entertained. I think that through the bloods, we have learned much - most of all how to cope with disappointment and loss but hopefully that is all about to change!
              Go you mighty BLOODBOYS!
