    Equation from here

Beat BOTH Brisbane and Collingwood - we are sweet
Beat one of Brisbane and Collingwood - ok
Beat neither of Brisbane and Collingwood - goodnight

Our poor % vis a vis that of Adelaide and Collingwood will also come back to bite us.

    equation from here

if collingwood loses the next three, the swans will finish above them, depending on other results.

The amount of critisizem Magpies are getting in the media at the moment would definitely result in a good performance next time. They'll have a chance this Friday against the Crows, who are travelling to Melbourne from a win at Subiaco. This will test the Pies even more, because the Crows are running very hot at the moment. It might be a game of the round.

As Collingwood's draw is pretty tough (Adelaide at home, Sydney Away, Essendon Home), I'm thinking (hoping!) they may lose all three, in which case the Swans only need to win one more game to make top 4. I'd be much happier with 2 out of 3 though.

to be honest I dont really care if we dont make the finals as we will be finals fodder for other teams.

We lack height down back and god help us against one of the best and upcoming CHF in the game next week. If anybody watched him destroy the magpies on Saturday they will know how much of a mission it will be to beat the lions.

Until we get a good solid tall KPP our hopes of winning the flag are on par with the AFL handing back Carlton all their draft picks and dropping the SC charges.

          I.E it wont happen.

So I'll rather the swans not play in the finals if we are just going to make up the numbers.

              Crucial results this weekend:

COLLINGWOOD to beat Adelaide - Gets them back on a level pegging before the Showdown in round 22. We can put C'wood behind us ourselves.

SYDNEY to beat Brisbane - Der.... moving right along.

GEELONG to beat West Coast - Unlikely, but being at Kardinia Park helps immensely. A Swans win and WC loss would effectively remove them from our equation, I think.
