    Scarf Poll

Thanks for the scarf poll guys...
I had the "lucky" scarf with me on Saty night (geee was it c-c-c-c-cold) BUT it didn't do the job, so a good wash is in the offing now I know I won't be washing out the good luck.....

I have, however, identified why we lost. Every match at the SCG I have a chicken noodles from the barrow behinf the ladies stand, but for some reason (I think it was cos I had chicken noodles for lunch) I had a pie instead...

It's obvious now that it's the noodles that are in fact "lucky".

Anyway, I now need to wash the scarf cos of the pie n sauce that dropped on it during the match...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Actually it might have been my scarf that was the problem.

My wife was wearing the one I have been using all this year, and at half time I ripped it from her and wrapped the one I was wearing around her neck...But alas - it was too late.

I should have done it at 1/4 time!

I think it only works if I take my coat off at the same time. I was sitting in the pub watching the game then started getting warm at half time and took my jacket off. The result, as we all saw, was a much better second half performance.

My only contribution is that I've lost my "clapping gloves" sometime over the last 2 weeks .... beautiful leather gloves that are much more effective than bare skin. Without them, my voice had to do double duty on saturday night and as a result is only just recovering today!

I have to apologise too! Nearly every weekend we are in the country (Buxton) and I watch the Swans wearing my Swans cap.

We haven't been out for two weekends, but horror of horror, I accidently brought my Swans cap back two weekends ago. I don't know what I was thinking!!!!!! I always leave it out there. I have a fantastic knack of knowing when to take it off during a game (when the flow needs to change).

This flow, unfortunately, DOES NOT WORK when I am in the city. I don't mean to frighten you, but I have to work in town again this weekend so the cap will not be in its rightful place for the third weekend in a row.......hopefully the third time is the charm

There's still time to put it in the post and send it back to the country. DO IT NOW!

i though the reason why we lost is because my friend who sits next to me was running late and when she showed up the swans seemed to start improving.
Waiting for the day i see Barry Hall with HAIR!!! and when i say HAIR, i mean LOTS OF HAIR!!!
