Heath looked pretty out of it on Saturday night after he was flattened...if he was out cold with concussion would it be wise to bring him in against Brizzie?....I thought it was recommended that a player skip a week after suffering concussion...

Disappointing players from Saty shd be given a rest though...I have no problem with any of the following playing in the ACTAFL next week...Nicks, Fossie, Saddo. And I have no problem if we rest Stewie/Willo/Leo to help them better manage their injuries... But doing BOTH will be a bit of a problem in team balance...

Sydney Swans coach Paul Roos looks set to recall Heath James to the senior side for this weekend?s clash against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba in what the coach calls a tough but winnable game.

James, who would play his second senior match in two years, was promoted to the senior list two weeks ago after a career thus far he would rather forget due to 11 torn hamstrings and a ruptured patella tendon in his left knee.



?It?s just mind-boggling to be honest but it?s great,? Roos said.

?He has been our best player probably in the seconds for the last three weeks, he has played six weeks in a row and if you didn?t know his injury history and came and watched him play the last three weeks you would say, why isn?t he in the team??

Roos made it clear to James earlier this year when the Swans added him to the rookie list that he should put senior football completely out of his mind.

?He needed to just play some footy and we thought if he got ten seconds games we would be able to assess at the end of the year whether he is worth putting back on the list because he is too old to be a rookie at the end of the year.?

The defender has been playing in the forward line and the coaching staff hope he will provide the team with height and flexibility after two consecutive losses ? a four-point loss to Adelaide and a three-goal loss to Hawthorn at the SCG last week.

While Sydney struggled in the middle against the Hawks, Roos wasn?t too critical believing the midfield had been fantastic all year but they just got away from their job.

?Sometimes its human nature to want to get a bit ahead of yourself and perhaps think you can do things that you can?t,? Roos said.

?It?s really only the second time in 15 weeks, the Kangaroos and Hawthorn, when we played poor and I thought were very good when we played Adelaide.

?So to have two sort of ordinary weeks out of 15 for a team like ours is terrific so I can?t be too critical and hopefully they will be back on the job this week.?
