I didn't really notice during the game and haven't watched the tape so I have no idea which version is correct.
Not easy to analyse a game that you can't watch because it brings back nightmares, that's why I haven't commented on Nick's Saturday night effort.

I was a big fan of his improvement last year but I am just not seeing that same effort this year and I do look for the off-the ball hard stuff when I watch live and I am not seeing it from Nick.

So far as him running down the wing...burned into my brain at the moment is Nick running down the near side at AAMI, during a crucial forward movement the other week, all alone, no pressure and him booting a mongrel torp for one bounce over the boundary and I found this completely unacceptable.

Jude Bolton was always going to be a better player than Fosdike. His attack on the ball, body size and strength are all ingrediants that a player must have to be that little bit better than others. Fosdike has the ability to run, that's about it.

          rubbish

sorry but nic has no problem getting the ball its his disposal that lets him down, but with a bit of work hell come good.also does he really have the muscle for a four quarter tag position i think not and he needs to be given a free up by roosy to play his own game.now lets have a look at matty nicks great servant to the club but bwe kept him 1 year too many i think,on his current form nicksy would struggle to get any interest at all from any other club baring the minor leagues, most under achieving player on an afl list

I agree . I think ROOS is a good coach, but sometimes his match ups leave a lot to be desired. OPerhapes he could get Eade back in the box as a specialist adviser on this front.
