- Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!
akers loud mouth is surely wearing thin with his teammates and club alike.im sure the article where he bagged the swans would have been mentioned in our pre game build up.if we didnt have enough reasons to want to win today surely ackers comments and actions today were just more incentive for our players
IMO Aker was a large part of the reason why the Lions lost that game. He's a supremely talented player when he feels like it but today he just wanted to niggle, complain and push opponents around in meaningless situations. That attempted handpass over his head when Crouch was right on him was arrogance (or stupidity) personified.
If I were Voss I'd be livid with Aker. Voss showed us today (in case we needed reminding) what a fabulous player he is, and he does it all within the spirit of the game - hard, tough but fair. I think he can justifiably be annoyed with those of his team mates who chose not to keep their minds on the job.

Speaking of Bazza it will be another anxious week to see if anything comes up of his scuffle with chris johnston, but hopefully the fighting at telstra dome last night will keep the tribunal more than busy and they will overlook this case.

Nothing in it. Will be a bit harsh and a waste of time if he has to fly down.
Dont be so confident D.
I'm sure the tribunal are getting sick of bazza trying to push of players and "accidently" making contact to the head with a fist
If I remember correctly one of the commentators said about his behaviour that if they were winning they'd be praising him, but it's not the kind of behaviour you should be promoting when your team is down.
And to think some people on this site wanted to trade for him. Sure he has talent, but he picks when to use it and on days like today it can cost a team dearly.
Aker plays for Aker. The colours and history of his guernsey mean nothing to him. I thought he was disgraceful today, but lets be honest about wether or not we'd REALLY want him in our team (or does the Lockett/Caven incident have to be dredged up again).
When Aker plays great, every team would want him. When he goes off the boil and starts losing his cool (like today), people are trampled in the rush trying to get away from him. Despite todays grievances, a dual premiership player and Brownlow medallist to boot has got to be an excellent inclusion into any side.
However, he's got more chips than dandruff on his shoulder at the moment. He's gonna need to adjust his attitude and/or ego.
Very true Jimmy when he is on his game one of the best in the league (the Brownlow goes to show that)
However lately seems to be more and more niggle in his game as opposition players realise he can be put off his game.
