Absolutely. I think enough opposition players have become aware of his dangerous impact and able to negate him better and more effectively than in previous years (most notably 01). I don't think that means he's finished as a fantastic player though. He's got better stuff to come yet, and if he was available, I'd love to see him doing it in our colours.

One minute there are many who say we need a bit of mongrel at the Swans, and when we see some mongrel on display we are all horrified?

I seem to remember a certian footballer with a certain elbow who caused a certain amount of outrage when he signed with the Swans.

It was one game, and Acker was a tosser. An immature brat if you will....
If it indeed was his antics that contributed to their loss, then I thank him

And if he wants to come to Sydney at a good price, I'd be happy to see him here

I was waiting for Aker to cop some later in the game - finally Nick Davis (of all people) was the one I saw throwing him onto the ground. On ya Nick.

Aker can be a plonker quite often. What suprised me was what a tosser Brown seems to be becoming. Whilst he seems to have great potential, he already seems as arrogant as Wayne Carey, with frequent umpire appeals, gratuitous running through players (when the ball isn't in play) etc etc. I loved Goodes' mark over his shoulder.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

Give Aker a break...he may have been the plonker who inspired us to get over the line!!! And I too am extremely grateful. I thought maybe we could snag either brizzie or wobbles...now I think maybe we can snag both!!!
Aker is good for a laugh here and there...he has undoubted football talent, a big ego and an even bigger mouth. Still, if he wants to come to Sydney, I wouldn't stand in his way...anything to help live out a 70-year dream!!!
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

You reckon the Lions will get to third, do you?

I'd just like to vote 'NO" for Aka..We don't need somebody with that attitude playing for us...

Winning is undoubtedly important for football in Sydney, but equally important is a good image for the game, and Aka won't add to that...Has anybody actually noticed the large numbers of children who attend our games..fancy having some one like Aka as the face of the club? Very distasteful!

There are a lot of great players who combine/combined champion play with good attitudes..Amongst those are Michael Voss, James Hird, Paul Kelly and Michael O Loughlin..

These guys are/were magic players and bring good sportsmanship to the game..They are the type of people we need for footy in Sydney.

Maybe, but getting fired up was the best thing Bazza could have done. With the likes of Brown and Akermaggot and at least 4 or 5 other Brissy players pushin the Sydney boys around we were looking gone.

It was after Bazza fired up that our boys showed some strength. At least Bazza was prepared to stand up for himself and the team. I honestly believe he gave our boys the mental toughness to go on with the job after he pushed a few of those dickheads around.

Roos said last week we needed someone like Plugger to kick goals and win the game for us. Well against Brisbane we had Bazza. He presented all day long, got tough when he needed to and kept his head to kick 5 goals. A best on ground performance.

I went to get the Herald Sun at lunch and was happy with the back page. Aker holding his face like a big baby (after the Leo incident) with the headline "Lions Wondering What Hit Them"

Made me smile all over again.

And the shot of him leaving the field after the game said a lot -
throwing a tantrum and carrying on

Still he's got a long way to go before he catches up with
