    craig bolton

gee i was very worried with jonaton browns first 15 mins but how good was craig bolton.surely one of our most underated players and to play that well against his old team what an inspiration to players around him.his move to brown today was i believe probably the reason we won the game .go the mighty bloods

Credit to both Craig Bolton AND Andrew Schauble who were fantastic today.

He certaintly wasnt the only reason but he played a big part in shutting him down.
We must leave bolton down back and none of these run with roles or wing type roles, he has shown he his most valuable asset as a defender.

Special mention to Schauble - finally got one back one lynch finally!

Not to mention barry's great game again - the whole backline was pretty much playing as well as could be today, and it shows how important the back six are to the team.

I reckon Schabs was BOG and Bolts was 2nd best - fantastic game by both and they deserve every accolade they get.

Craig is the best pick up (without fanfare) since Cressa.

Fantastic game by B2, and also by Schaubes. Lynch had terrible service, and Schauble had him well covered when the ball came in well.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Schaubs did a great job on Captain Snooze, but it seemed like the Lions were intent on trying to expose us through Jonathan Brown. They did this when Saddo was on him, but Craig Bolton was brilliant today. Al in all really, the entire backline was fantastic, kept us in it at times (along with Brisbane's poor kicking).
