I heard on Triple M, in Sydney, that 60,000 tickets had already been sold.
That'll show that retired W...er, Sam Newman, who scoffed at the thought that there would be a big crowd at TS. His comments were made on Triple M, in Melbourne.

Realistically you'd think we should be too quick and too skilful for Collingwood. That said we shouldn't take them lightly.
Will be interesting - but there lack of skill should make it too hard for them to beat us.You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby ZieglerComment

Sam is a strange man. On the footy show last year he was upset that Australia was hoping to stage the soccer world cup. He said it would spoil australian rules people and turn them into soccer supporters.
I love all sports and I hate that attitude.
We should support all footy soccer rugby league and union. And all Australian teams.

He's about 13, and a Port fan. He quoted all Sam's statistics to him (ie Sam) incluing the number of gtimes he been married, how many girlfriends he's had (24 !!!! - loves long term relationships does Sam) . then the best line "you've got 3 children that we know of )

I think the Magpies can be a bit like us in this department, with confidence the skill levels go up a notch or two, go off the boil and they drop.The idea that Collingwood lacks skill is a complete myth.
The real myth is that Collingwood are a slow side IMO. Watching Shaw carve up Adelaide last weekend should have dispelled that one I would've thought.Comment
