    Ticket Swap????

I went to purchase a couple of members reserve guest pass tickets at Ticketek a short while ago only to learn that all have been sold. I ended up purchasing two tickets for people who are coming along on Saturday in a different section so therefore we won't be able to sit together. There is one adult and one child ticket in section 630.

    see attached seating plan

    http://afl.com.au/cp2/c2/webi/externaldocument/000092ak.pdf

The two seats are undercover in the stand (front row - enter Gate N) on the half forward flank (about 8 o'clock on the map). Is anyone able to swap two tickets (or loan me their cards for the night) in the Members reserve area (ie entering through Gate H)? The two tickets are price Category 2 and I am happy to waive the difference.

Can anyone make me a happy chappy?

    Snajik, don't worry about it.

There has yet to be any attendants on any of the aisles that lead to the Swans reserved seating.

It is first in best dressed, so just get there early with your friends and sit together there. Nobody checks the passes.

Mind you, if Saturday night proves to be an exception and the Red Coats are out in force I will be mighty p!ssed. I have talked at least 20 people from work into going to the game with the promise of a bumper crowd and great atmosphere that they cannot get from their regular NRL game.

They have all bought tickets willy nilly with the intention of all sitting together in the swans area.

So your membership has a seat allocated, does it?

Not quite sure what that answer means, but if you have a seat allocated, you are not sitting in the area I am talking about.

No need to be pissed. If it's your seat, it's your seat.

                Enjoy the game.

The only seating that isn't reserved at the SCG is the GA tickets (which members can also purchase) and this is for seating on the Hill where it is a case of first in best dressed. At Stadium Australia, I have no idea what the story is with GA type seating, but I do know that the area where I have my seat is definitely reserved seating, and if someone is sitting in my seat when I get there, they won't be for much longer.

                  I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

All the Swans members who sit in the Noble and Ladies Stands do not have reserved seating at the SCG.

The area I'm talking about at Homebush runs from behind the goals that the Swans cheer squad sits around to the race on the flank that the swans used in the earlier games this year.

If you have a seat allocated on your membership you have no need to worry.

Yes I fall into that category BBB. I have an unreserved member's seat in the Noble at the SCG. When I go to SA I enter through Gate H and sit behind the goals. I understood that those with reserved seats at the SCG also have a reserved seat at SA.

So your NRL mates don't have tickets for the section H area and intend to sit in the section H area? Have you successfully tried this before? How early do you need to arrive? I'm keen on this idea if it works.

Here's a better info about the seat allocation at TS.

                        I hope this helps.

Snajik, I'm always there when the gates open. If there is only a couple of you, you just need to arrive in time to get x amount of seats together.

This all came about because the group I sit with at the SCG (and have done so since '82) are not all members of the Swans. We have a mixture of Swans members and SCG members.

When it comes to games at SA, last year we sat seperately for the first game. At quarter time, mobile calls were made and we all congregated together in the unreserved members area for the second half and have so for all subsequent games.

As i said, it hasn't been a problem so far, but MAYBE Saturday night could be a problem. If you have at least 2 people in your group with Swans memberships, you just need to go out 1 aisle with both cards and come in the next aisle with a friend if the aisles are patrolled.

That exercise may take me forever if I have to resort to that on saturday night!!!

I have few doubts it will be OK, though.
