I reckon it will be Seymour for Saddington, and possibly Doyle for Mikeljohn

Bit harsh on Meiklejohn after last game. He was great, plus Doyle wont be able to ruck for long periods of time. I think they will give Doyle a run in the 2's and bring him in for the game against Melbourne.

I wouldn't be surprised if Meiklejohn gets left out - the Pies don't pose the same problem for us in the ruck that the Lions did. So that leaves 2 to come in. If Doyle is available, I imagine he will play. That leaves the other IN between Nicks (I would prefer not, but he still seems to be highly regarded at the selection table), Sunny, Ablett and Seymour.

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I'd love to see Symour come back in. Anyone who watched the ressies, did he have much time on the field? The week before he was on in spurts of about 10 -15 minutes with at least 5 - 10 minutes rest. That will be his only draw back, can he last a full game?

Maxie said Powell would be coming in last night on 2UE.

'The injury to Saddo gives the opportunity for guys such as Rowan Warfe and Mark Powell to come into the seniors'

Dave, maybe you were wishing he said Powell WILL be in.

Tallish utillity for another I would take a young Powell for sure.

Forget Doyle in the ruck he would only replace James as he could not carry any type of ruck work right now problem was when he was fit his weakness was his actual ruck work. I would not mind if he did not come back at all this year I like him to get fully fit and beef up abit for a full tilt next year.

Imo I love the three way rotation we have now MJ,Goodes,Lrt.

I'm just glad Saddo is out, if powell is in, good for him. Did you guys read the article regarding Saddo? How hypocritical was it when he said that the 'team' played poor in the first half.

I don't think our first half performace rests solely on Saddo's shoulders. He was unlucky with at least one the goals Brown got. If he controlled that mark I'm a monkey's unlce.

Seymour Butts? You have got to be kidding me!

His best days are so far behind him, he needs a memory transplant with Arthur Tunstall to recall.

                          No Warfe
                          No Seymour

                          Yes Doyle
                          Yes MJ

                          Yes Ablett
                          Yes Powell

Don't get me wrong, Butts has had some great days with our club but he has been slow, clumsy and ineffective for over a year and yes a lot of it is injury related, but it's too much to overcome.

                            On a scale of 1-10 ?
