There's some unreserved spaces in P3 - basically the outdoor parking which has no gates. If you rock up early enough you should be able to get a spot, and just pay at the ticket machine there.
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out.... Des' Weblog
There is also the 2500 space P5 open air carpark to the north of SA. They don't pre-sell tickets there. It's a bit of a walk but I think they run a shuttle bus for big events.
Parking now $10 per day maximum! 10,000 car parking spaces available. Pre-booked and Casual Parking Available
Your Guide to Easy Parking at Sydney Olympic Park:
1. If you plan to drive, always pre-book* your parking for major events. To pre-book parking, call Ticketek on 9266 4800 or visit the Ticketek website and select the day we have prebook tickets available. Remember, you must book 7 working days in advance to allow for delivery by mail.
2. If you do not pre-booked a parking space, casual parking is generally available for $2 per hour or $10 per day maximum. For up-to-date information regarding availability on the day, call the Parking Information Line on 1900 95 PARK(7275) (55c/min incl GST. Higher for mobile and public phones.)
3. Arrive early so you don't miss the start of the event. Restaurants and bars are always available and more open up in the major venues before each event; or just take a stroll to explore some of Sydney Olympic Park - there's plenty to see and do.
