    Ray Hadley talks down match

League boofhead Ray Hadley did his best to talk down the match this morning on 2GB, questioning why the Daily Telegraph is full of news about the Swans. He said the rag would be losing readers because its supposed to be a "rugby league bible".

Someone should tell Ray the paper may have seen the light, and there's a lot more footy fans in this town than he gives it credit for.

I doubt the NRL will get 70,000 to its marquee Penrith vs West Tigers "blockbuster"" on Saturday night.

    How about 700.
    Anyone for 70?

I'd say the Penrith - Wests Tigers match would get around 20,000. Much lower than what we'd get.

It's hardly the marquee blockbuster of the round though.

You could not expect much more from a cretin like hadley. Total weekly crowd figure for RL are usually around 90,000 mark so IMO Hadley may be getting a little paranoid. RL is also receiving big pressure from the RU World Cup .

Hadley would talk down the Swans because 2UE have given the Swans some support and he is an ex 2UE person with a problem. He is up himself in many ways.

            Go Swans
            Love those Swans

here I was after dusting off the dirt (paper delivery guy knows where my garden is) a little annoyed we didn't get another back page. Nearly had a seizure Monday from being back page .... after not having one for god knows how long .....a week later not impressed by not being there..... am I expecting too much?

I really think Ray should take a couple chill pills go to sleep and wake up Monday ..... that way he'll miss our headlines on Sunday morning

Horses for courses - Ray can flog his dead horse as long as he wants - the rest of Sydney has - is jumping onto the Swans bandwagon.

                      Go Swannies

Hadley is a joke....he should return to doing those Lowes ads...he was good in them, along with that guy who has a tourniquet round his head, and the one who can't speak properly...great heads for TV....NOT
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Another funny one was Peter Wynn who is an ex-Parrametta RL player who has a sports store in Parra...

He said this morning on 2KY..

"How much exposure have the Swans got this week?...

With all that there's something wrong if they can't win."

                          Absolutely stupid comment!

When did a back page ever help a team play better???

Basically its jealousy from Wynn who cannot handle the fact that the AFL is getting some deserved publicity me thinks.
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.

Never heard of Ray Hadley. If he is typical of NSW reporters, then anything that has some notoriety with Melbourne gets a belting.

He is probably one of those tossers who think the Sydney Cup has far more significance than the Melbourne Cup.
