    Keep RO'K

I am alarmed (and alert) at this talk about losing Ryan. He is a very reliable kick, and I am happier when he is in our forward line. Enough of this going back home talk. Let him know that we think he's a great asset and we want him to stay. I don't care who wants him, we want him more. And we want him playing with us, not against us.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I stated this in a post a few weeks ago, but the talk about ryan goin home is getting stronger and we are most likley to loose a great young kid. Its been reported that he is missing his family and friends from melbourne to much. Lets hope ryan has a re think and stays at the club.

Mal Michael plays at brisbane. Unless it could be a 3 way deal. Could even be a deal for a peter walsh or daniel ward type from melbourne.

Give us a break Frosty. Those 2 Melbourne players are very average.

                Playfair has resigned with Geelong.

I suspect there's a fair bit of sarcasm in chammond's post.

As for R'OK, he was certainly one of our better players tonight. Provides a good presence in the forward line but I think he would do well playing in the midfield. Throw Davis back up forward as I think we have missed him there.

Is this Aaron Rogers being mooted for Ryno? No way, he could never kick straight in the juniors, if he can't get a game at Richmond where is he? O'Keefe is a classier version of O'Brien, all our efforts should be directed at a strong (tough) defender to free saddo to a flank or wing and give Powell a while to learn his trade. Our smalls are amongst the best around, if Stephens hasn't got it trade him before everyone esle realises

                        O'Keefe is isn't he.

A sad thing watching the ressies this weekend I thought pretty much the same thing. My Nephew was asking why Stevens wasn't playing in the Seniors, I explained his lack of form, I had to go back to the Freo game beofre I could agree to him doing "ok". The next thing he fumbled relatively easily in front of us and my only comment was to point and state "and you wanted to know why he's been dropped"

How is Bevan going, his getting into BOGs and I was at his junior club for along time, top young guy and a big heart!

                            I'll answer that.

Bevan is VERY useful. He has been a real solid defender all year. His best/main attribute I have seen so far is his ability and willingness to punch the ball when out-positioned in the marking contest. He has been rarely, if ever, been beaten this year. His only drawback is he is not tall enough to play a KP.

I have no doubt he will be kept on the list for next year with the chance he maybe moved onto the main list if the opportunity/need arises.

had to think about who you meant then ... we call Paul "Gerry" or "Benno" being he wears 42 which is Gerrad Bennetts old number and at the beginning of the season, it was came out and has stuck.

he's been very prominent in the past few matches, but alas is a bit short for what we desperately need
