Thanks guys, on Paul Bevan, He really is a Matthews or Crouch type certainly, I think he started on R/League therefore was a great tackler, he also had enough skills to pot goals regularly, great to see him make the list as he is a genuine NSW junior. whilst on that tack what is McElhone like?

there are some of the guys out there playing in numbers belonging to injured players on our list. Whilst some of them do stand out, I'm not aware of their names, and unfortunately McElhone falls into this category, so I can't report back, as I'm not sure who he is.

Doh - yep, I forgot Bevan's game on Saturday - I thought he played really well & he seemed bloody fast.

A lot less hesitant than Matthews (although the game is slower) - at least he doesn't have that "rabbit-in-headlights" look that Benny has when he's looking for a safe kicking option. Hope we keep him.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

He's a keeper for sure. Takes a decent mark!

I think Paul played in the U16's GF for Wests who won in 2001 which was played as the very first game of Aussie Rules at Stadium Australia!

According to our very own RWO Bevan is 181 cm (so should be six foot by now ) and was taken as a go in hard midfielder...in 2001 he was NSW/ACT Rams best and fairest ahead of......the Schneiderman. If he's been playing well all year he sounds like and exciting prospect.

He beat Schneider. I am not 100% but I am fairly sure that Bevan played more games that way. Schneider played 11 games, and averaged 33 possessions in the midfield.
