    I'm So Excited...

    ... and I just cant hide it. I'm about to lose control and I think I like it!

    Sorry, thought I'd share that with you. Its been in my head all morning ever since I saw the Red n White splashed all over the SMH and Weekend Australian. Front page of both main news sections and front page of both sports sections.

    I was only 15 in 1996, but I cant remember the hype surrounding the Swans ever being like it has been this week.

              It was TEN TIMES bigger in 96 with five or six pages EVERY DAY.

                  Wow 96..seems like a long time ago now but at the same time it feels like it was last week.

                  Everyday a photo of a Lockett or Kelly doing something would be on the back page and something about the swans on the frontpage.

                  They even had a complete write up about Pluggers life. It was crazy.

                  It feels like a finals game and i cant do anything as I am too focused on tonights game.

                  I might wonder around town in my RW gear trying to spot Magpies.

                  Argh bring on 7.10 goddamit!

                      Ummm game doesn't start till 7:20 tonight Diego....so unless you can't wait for the banner run-through rather than the first bounce, I think you'll be disappointed

                                      I've been dressed in footy gear since 10am. I had our dinner and snacks packed at 1.30. The thermos is on the bench waiting for hot water. The bags are packed the checklist done and I've bitten all of my nails to an unacceptable level. but only 15 minutes more and I'm out of here, we're going to watch the ressies.
