I'm not too far from SA as the crow flys and it is overcast with no breeze, temp mild.
Hopefully they'll be at least 12 hours out with the forecast as they have been every game this season."My theory is that the universe is made out of stupidity because it's more plentiful than hydrogen" - Frank ZappaComment

As long as the NE winds hold off we're in with a chance.
They are what will bring the rain.
Hopefully it will stay coastal if it comes."My theory is that the universe is made out of stupidity because it's more plentiful than hydrogen" - Frank ZappaComment

On the sides only the front rows get wet (depending on the wind of course). The Ends used to be open but there is now a newly added roof at each end but I don't know how much it covers. I do know that it covers less than what was in the original design plans.
The stands are totally dry.Comment

From an outcome point of view, some rain may not be a bad thing. Against Brisbane the guys demonstrated some wet weather skills that we doubted they had based on the past few years. But more to the point, the one area that the Wobbles have the potential to really hurt us if things go their way is marks in the forward 50 and just outside - Tarrant and Rocca can mark the ball, no doubt. Wet conditions will diminish this advantage a bit, and also possibly decrease Rocca's ability to kick goals from 60m out.
On the other hand, our forward line isn't quite as dependent on taking marks, with Bazza and Micky both being quite skilful off the ground.Comment

Okay when you look at the 256km maps there's periods there is tons of rain cover and then gaps in between.
I'm definitely going in prepared with it belting down <g>
Only good news out of this is the rain is finally hitting the drought affected areas.Comment

It's raining now at Newport Beach but light misty rain only.
It was raining last week at the Gabba but that didn't sop our enjoyment of the game.
