    Opposition Fans

Think the rules regarding opposition fans posting on RWO should be tightened up.

Their main reason for being here seems to provoke and **** stir and frankly I think we can do without their presence.

    Some have their use,

Tim and neored come to mind, as good honest and insightful fans of other clubs. Joel hasn't stepped out of line, so I think so far so good and there have been others, who have brought honour on themselves and their clubs though good behavour.

But of course any fan here to stir the pot so to speak should get a Des sized boot up the arse.

I see 2 Collingwoo dimwits who couldn't make their dole payment stretch far enough to make the game, have taken things to far, though I'm surprised more haven't followed to be honest. But I suppose Collingwood fans wouldn't know anything about bringing honour on their club.

I rate them lower than Celtic fans who are the scum of this world and take pleasure in singing pro-IRA songs outside a building where the IRA let off a bomb killing plenty of people.

People never change and the Magpie Army never will.

Please dont sanitize this board any more.
We have a very good group of core posters, and we can all pretty much observe the nuence of the board and read or post accordingly.
I think invaders from other clubs are actually interesting, because they add character to the board and provock very different posts from our regulars.
It would be a very boring cyber world if we only let those of like mind join in. Besides the morons from the other clubs (albeit at times obnoxious), generally piss off after there team has played us so I think it would show a great lack of matturity and patcience on our part not to be able to put up with them. I also think it is easier to tolerate them afer a win than a loss !

I think that's a bit out of line Robbie.

Nothing worse than stereotypes Robbie and to start off I'm an opposition fan. I generally like to scope the opposition boards the week before we play them to get a general idea of who we're playing.

Cheer Cheer told me about this site and me and him went through University together. Oh, and he can tesitfy that this Collingwood fan isn't unemployed so please cut with these stereotypes.

I was surprised we won last night. After watching Sydney take apart Brisbane I was (like every other Collingwood fan) nervous. Like Nick Davis said, this side does have some likeness with us last year.

We've had a couple of complete and utter trolling idiots here over the past 24 hours. One was so pathetic that when he was banned for blatant trolling last night, he reregistered immediately under a different name.

Immediately after a game like that you have to understand that we're not in the mood to entertain opposition supporters who have merely come here to gloat. Maybe you haven't but it's hardly surprising you're not being greeted with open arms.

Sounds like a certain Magpie called Greg. This guy is a work of art.

A 45 yold with the mindset of a 10 year old. Scary.

              No hard feelings.

Internet is a funny place and from what has been said on this forum, there appears to be some ill feeling between the Sydney and Collingwood folk.

However some people do visit opposition fansites to get a different perspective on the game. You can get some information from the official site but on the majority, there is a lack of informative websites on AFL.

I don't mind a bit of intelligent banter with the opposition, in fact most of us here will readily accept that we were simply outplayed by the better team on the night. However, you will always get morons who just come here to gloat - low tolerance on that front, they'll get booted quickly.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....
