Heath didn't have a great game (well few did!). He took a couple of good marks but seemed to be afraid of kicking the ball and so did some foolish passes (well, so did they all). He did a couple of good things, but didn't seem to get a lot of game time.

Sorry to have to say it, but Heath wasn't in the best 22, but then again few were...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

He will be right, just finding his feet at the moment.

Let's be a little bit more objective about Heath. He has now played 7 games, I think, at the top level, hardly enough to be even a little critical.

He seems to have the poise, skills etc. Next season with a full pre-season and a fit Heath James will be the time to make valued judgements.

Then again he is getting a game, so who knows he might just play a blinder stiil this year.

he is still finding his way back. I think it'll come, hopefully sooner than later.

I believe he'll be good for us. He has the attitude and commitment. It's only been two weeks in the seniors. He has had fewer games than most of our young guys who started this year. I wasn't being critical, just reporting. I still have high hopes. He was in good spirits after the game ... I believe he is just so happy to be back in the team and getting a run. Once he's settled he will really contribute for us.

you can see he has a very good footy head. When watching the replay this morning there was a particular stage in Q3 (I think) he had Pies converging on him and he kept his cool and got a good disposal.

Once he's bod holds up for a couple of games, I think he's demeanour will change and we'll really see his potential. This guy's going to fly.

i thought he did well without starring and DEFINITELY in the 22, had the poise not to just bang on the boot and furthermore, he keeps his feet!!! on one occasion, he went down, but he stood fast and didnt go all limp once the pressure closed in on him while gathering the ball, i reckon about 24 other players in our squad need to learn this!!!
