    Who should come in?

    Doyle or Seymour?

I think they should both come in.

and who should they replace?LRT is not ready and needs more reserves matches.Doyle has to come in for him and Meiklejohn is not up to the finals either.Seymour is a muscle head and ,if fit, is essential.Somehow Goodes has to be given support and IMO , an unfit Doyle and Snapper are preferable to the two talls who failed on saturday .

Doyle and Seymour for Meiklejohn and Fosdike, is what I'd like to see.

That is a really stupid comment. There is no way Fosdike is going to be dropped now.

why not ? what's so stupid about P46's comment ?

I thought Fosdike had a shocker and if you were going to roll a few heads, which RWO's love to do , his would be my primary candidate.

              Meiklejohn OUT . Doyle IN

I can see a huge difference here. Doyle will be much more effective up forward.

I can't see too many other changes really, no real need. We just didn't play to the conditions well enough. No need for drastic action.

I'd like MJ out and Seymour in. Give Doyle another week to find some touch, and give Brad a run, see how he goes. I think he may have built up enough in his legs.

what will probably happen though is MJ out Doyle in at FF and Pebbles moved to play in the midfiled interchange rotation pushing forward to assist Hall at CHF.

Didn't think he was that different to the rest of the team. Poor in the first half, and better in the second.

He was one of our best last week against Brisbane.

Who would replace him? The only midfielder knocking on the door is Ablett. While I'd love to see Ablett get a run, given a choice between Fossie or Noggin as the player more likely to contribute to us winning, at this stage it would be Fossie every time.

I dont think MJ will be replaced by Doyle. The Swans will need a some competition to match Jeff White, and Goodes cant do it all day. Doyle wont be able to do it, and LRT definitely cant do it. Doyle will be given 1 more week before returning for the finals.

                          MJ out - Doyle in.

We can't afford to give Doyle another week in the ressies - it is a gamble but one we have to take. You can't expect Doyle to play in Canberra league and then in a Final the next week. The heat will be nowhere near the same this week.

Also the dees don't have great height in the backline and he will take the tallest defender. I just don't think MJ is up to it - he tries hard but is only a good tap ruckman - we get nothing around the ground from him.

Seymour is a chance if he is playing well - but I don't know who else I would drop.

                          Cheers.

Sunny is the obvious one. He has plenty of time ahead of him and is only making cameo contributions at the moment. I'd bring either Ablett or Seymour in for him.

BTW, White won't be playing next weekend. He's hurt his knee and is having surgery, according to a report on afl.com.au

Would there really be a point in bringing Ablett in for Sunny?
I guess to see if Ablett has what it takes.

I would like to see one of our two talls dropped (Meiklejohn/LRT). We really do not need the two, especially in light of current suggestion that White will miss the match.
