Anyone else having trouble with the messageboard

Since Friday, I have been having heaps of trouble using RWO Messageboard, sometimes it times out, sometimes it just takes forever and a day to load new messages. At other times it loads as quickly as usual


I am on Tel$tra ADSL, I know that this is not related to the game, but it's the most read section of the board.

I have exactly the same problems as you have described and I'm on Telstra Cable. Maybe its a Telstra problem, wouldn't surprise me at all.

I've had the same problem over the last few days too. It's like click and wait, and wait ... up to 2 minutes or so for a response.
I'm on bigpond cable, but this is only happenning on the RWO site.

Bigpond Cable, but the only site I've been having problems with is RWO... nothing else at all.

No problems at all thru Optus cable.

Remember the RWO is hosted in the US (Baltimore) but so is BigFooty (New York).

I was having trouble too. And it was also RWO. I thought it may have something to do with home, as it's ok this morning at work.???

BAM BAM are u on bigpond at home, this seems to be the common pattern with those of us having trouble.

Just got this email from our webhost:

Greetings AVS Customers and Partners,

A number of Telstra Bigpond customers are currently having problems connecting to
our network over the past couple of days. We are aware of the problem but there is
no problem with our network. This is a problem with Bigpond and Bigpond need to know
about this problem.

We would like our customers using Bigpond to let them know that there is a service
problem and that it needs to be fixed quicker than this. Telstra is also having ADSL
and Cable problems as well.

If you are having problems connecting to some web sites or your own web site, please
call Bigpond about it - 133 933.

Both Des and I buy the host services from AVS Networks (based in Wollongong) who in turn buys a bulk server capacity from a company called Alabanza based in Baltimore. Is that what you mean?

what I mean is if I am going to complain to Hel$stra then I should try and give them as much info as possible or should I just say www.redandwhiteonline.com

It seems ok with a Telstra ADSL connection from my workplace.

I had problems too and I wasn't connected to Telstra "crap" network.
