    Saturday afternoon - Alexandria Hotel

Bron mentioned this a couple of weeks ago, but with round 22 nearly upon us I figured it's time for another plug for Darren McCasey (sp?)'s pub - the Alexandria Hotel - on Saturday afternoon to watch the game amidst fellow Swannies.

There are several screens of various sizes in the pub which he tells us will all be showing the game. He also mentioned a barbecue from about 12pm and the possibility of some other ex-players coming along.

Darren's a really friendly publican who still loves the R&W and for those of us not able to make the trip down south this weekend, it sounds like a great place to watch the game.

The pub is on Henderson Road and is about a ten minute walk down from Redfern station.

This pub is about a block from my work and we often head down since it's recent renovations. It has a big screen above the bar which can be seen by all in the bar and the garden area is great although, it does remind me a bit of the Wentworth Detention Centre. I might get along if I don't get a better offer.

My beloved says there's not much smoke (that's my husband not BSMBH ). I haven't been there (yet) so I can't report personally.

Oh no, can I get a refund on my flights?

Maybe I should go to Alexandria. It is only a block from my home, with several decent places for kick-to-kicks. (Even if my footy is in Ert's car).

Is Warfe's babe going down too? U 2 going to use a flogger down there? (Remember when they are shooting for goal, USE THEM!!!!)

Was chatting with Steve Brassell about this on a flight back from Adelaide. He said that the Albert Park Hotel owners were not supportive of the Swans supporters gathering there, as they "scared away the regulars". But more importantly they were supporting a different beer company.

Which beer company sponsor the Swans now? What beer is on tap at Bells in Moray St?

before I make any plans, will we have some RWO's there or is everyone doing their own thing. I wasn't going to come in if there isn't going to be anyone else there.

I will be there. From what I can gather, there will be a few RWOers and other people too.
