I'm going to be sanctimonious (sorry)

I've always enjoyed coming here, just to browse and occasionally post some comments. Lately however, it has struck me, that everybody seems to be taking the whole footy situation rather seriously..in fact too seriously...

It's leading to some nasty comments and making this place not very friendly to visit...

Frankly I just think this whole season has exceeded expectations in regards to the Swans performance. Who would have been thinking this time last year that we would be in the finals at all? And here we are...It's been a wonderful year and we've discovered such great talents..and overall it's been a great and unexpected experience ....

So folks, I know I'll probably get flamed for this, but it's a game...it's only a game..and the good thing about being a native Sydneysider and supporter of the Swans is that many of us can have a bit of a laugh about it...

Frankly I was chuckling a lot on the weekend...in a purely fond and affectionate manner of course...

So I think that I will just enjoy the finals campaign and the rest of the season and look back upon it with a smile and thanks to the boys for the great effort and entertainment they have given us this year..

    ...end of sanctimony!

    OFF WITH HIS HEAD

Your most likely right, but as we are where we are, why settle for anything less than the best?????

I agree with you 100% Chewy but Pies fans are the LCD.

If they live by the sword, they have to be prepared to die by the sword, except when Collingwood loses suddenly its not fun to make jokes anymore.
