Lizz's theory that Fosdike is now where Bolton was last year is fairly right. Allow me to extend that theory. Ablett is another rung below Fosdike at present but by this time next year could be closer to where Fosdike is now. I say hang on to him.

I like what we have seen of Powell this year Rob-Bloods. Not alot of game time, but he seems fairly strong and he charges for the footy putting his body on the line. Being such a young bloke he will certainly get stronger as the years go by and hopefully one day be our brickwall at the back. I think he has a big future here in Sydney. Roosy is just easing him into it. Look forward to seeing alot more of him.

Secondly, I know there are people here who think I'm picky (or just plain mean!) for my frequent reminders that they had written off Jude this time last year but there is method to my madness.

Liz - You were one of the people who wrote Bolton off. I remember having an argument with you on here at the start of the year re Bolton v Fosdike. I was arguing Bolton would be in the team ahead of Fosdike and you wrote off Bolton basically saying he was useless.

Fosdike is definately tradeable, though I don't think we would get much for him.

I challenge you to find that thread. Unless I have had a brain seizure, I have never written Bolton off. I may have suggested some constructive criticism in moments of frustration but have always believed it was more likely he would come good than not.

Lots of this was based on getting along to see some training sessions where I saw him doing things that he didn't do with any consistency on the ground. And the handful of training sessions I've been to were mostly early to mid-last season.

Sure you haven't confused me with someone else? Certainly I'd struggle to know who said what a year ago. I wouldn't even try to name who the Bolton knockers were - just that there were a fair few.
