Here's the membership email, for those who missed it. If there's a final in Sydney, members can get extra tickets.

FINALS TICKETING ARRANGEMENTS - WEEK 1

IN THE EVENT OF SYDNEY PLAYING A HOME FINAL AT TELSTRA STADIUM - WEEK 1
Sydney Swans Members have the first priority to purchase Sydney Finals tickets - being Monday of the week preceding the game.

Members with reserved seats will NOT have automatic access to their normal allocated seat. Instead Members can purchase unlimited additional tickets for non-Member friends and family when purchasing your own tickets.

HOW TO BOOK TICKETS FOR A FINAL AT TELSTRA STADIUM
* Telephone Ticketek on 02 9266 4800 (NSW) and 132 849 (Victoria)
* Over the counter at Ticketek Outlets during regular operating hours. For a full list of Ticketek Outlets visit www.ticketek.com.au.
* Members cannot purchase Sydney Finals tickets through the Ticketek website until Tuesday, when remaining tickets go on sale to the general public.
PLEASE NOTE THAT UPON COLLECTION OF TICKETS, YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD MUST BE PRESENTED.

REDBACK MEMBERS
Redback Members are guaranteed premium seating for a Sydney Final. When booking Redback Members must contact the Sydney Swans Membership Office on 02 9339 9130 between 9.30am & 5.00pm on the Monday & Tuesday only prior to the game. The Membership Office will verify that you are a Redback Member. This seating area is for Redback Members ONLY. If Redbacks would like to purchase additional tickets for non-Redback Members and be seated with them, you will need to purchase from the general Member allocation available through Ticketek. Redbacks purchasing tickets directly from the Club must use a credit card.

CHEER SQUAD MEMBERS
Sydney based Swans Cheer Squad Members will need to contact Cathy Marney to purchase your ticket allocation for a Sydney Final. This ticket allocation is available on Monday & Tuesday only prior to the game. This seating area is for Cheer Squad Members ONLY. Melbourne based Swans Cheer Squad Members will need to contact the Melbourne Office on 03 9867 4146 to purchase your ticket allocation. This ticket allocation is available on Monday & Tuesday only prior to the game. This seating area is for Cheer Squad Members ONLY.

IN THE EVENT OF SYDNEY PLAYING A FINAL AT AN INTERSTATE VENUE - WEEK 1
Sydney Swans Members will have first priority to purchase an allocation of tickets for an away final. Members will be able to purchase tickets on the Monday and Tuesday of the week preceding the game. For Away Finals, you will NOT be able to purchase additional tickets for non-Member guests.

So members can't buy tickets over the net, it's either in person or over the phone.
Does anyone know if Bass (the South Australian agency) has an outlet in Sydney? If not, I guess it's a case of hitting the speed dial over and over again till you get through and holding for an eternity.

Question if you're in the members reserve section which is unreserved seating, I'm correct to say if we have a home final we can get access and don't have to go through the above avenues?

It feels like it - actually the reason I asked is, it's the first time since I've been a member that we have the possibility of a HF - that's why I wasn't sure

If we have a HF seems like I'll be trying through the phone then because there's no way I can ditch work to get to a Ticketek office <g>

My guess is the same as the A, B & C Reserves for H&A games
