    Brad Smith

How about picking up Brad Smith from Subiaco, he's leading the goal kicking in the wafl and as yet is not contracted to the Eagles or the Dockers he would be great on the forward line,is agreat mark and a good kick for goal and is much better than Stevens

He used to play over here with Collingwood I think, look like a log, couldn't get a game. Just wasn't up to it. Stay clear.

If it's the same Brad Smith, then I agree with Snowy. Definitely not a desirable target.

In any case, I'd have thought that forwards are the least of our recruiting priorities.

Don't know that he ever played for the Wobbles, he's only 24. I guess Smith's a pretty common name. But our Brad Smith just kicked 7 goals for Subi today. He's a great player, & I certainly don't want to lose him to any other side. Shame on you sWAns63 for even suggesting that!

Finding out what happened to Mickey we could probably use smithy on then foward line next weekend He's a tall strong lad with good hands and he kicks plenty of goals.

Even if he is not the same dud that wasted space on Collingwood and Richmond's list for about 5 seasons and played 4 or so games, why would be after another key forward?

Are you sure, I remember at the time reading that he had flown over for WA for a trial, it was at the bottom of where players were delisted etc.? I remember always thinking, steer clear of that person. If it is someone else he might be worth a try, though I hear the competition over there is far from what it used to be.

The Brad Smith you're thinking of was actually drafted by Richmond from Claremont in 95 then traded to the Wobbles in 97, if my sources are correct.....so that's probably why he went to WA for a trial, cos he was from Claremont in the WAFL..

I'm really surprised Subi's BRad Smith hasn't gone to an AFL club, (not that I'm complaining....I'm just happy to keep him at Subi) he's a bloody good player. The WAFL may not be as great as it used to be, but he does play for the top team (ATM) in the WAFL & is the top goalkicker of the league.
