Considering the noticeable improvements from Goodes, Boton J, Kirk, Schneider et al, Fosdike needs to step up to a better level weekly (with every 4th game a little off his best). He's not doing it yet imo. Loads of potential, but he needs to find alot more of it over the next 2-3 weeks. One good game out of every four is not dashing form.

He started the same year as Jude Bolton but Jude has taken the next step, whereas for a player who gets the footy as much as Nick he is still making the same mistakes.

I don't have any dislike or malice towards Nick, but I believe he has plateaued and is unlikely to go to the next level.

I've always thought that Nic is an average player. His disposal is frequently poor and he is a soft player. He did have a good game, but that is only because he had heaps of possessions.

He is a player that is capable of high possessions but his disposal and use of the ball is very average.

What kind of drivel is that.

You should be co-writing with James McSmith who wrote today 'Sydney need Adelaide to beat Port so they can run 5th and avoid finishing 4th' or words to that effect (it is in another thread).

Mick O'Loughlin kicked 5 yesterday, but that is only 'cause he kicked straight.

By the look of things, Fosdike will stay at the swans based on what Paul Roos said. However he must works on his disposal to take the next step.
