Are Port under more pressure to win?

    I think most definitely.

They have to deal with the choker label and make sure they don't conceed their home ground advantage.

We, on the other hand, have already exceeded most of everyone's expectations this year and just need to keep giving it our best shot.

Don't get me wrong, I want that silverware as much as anyone but I just feel they have more to prove than we do.

Agree all the pressure is on them !

They have a reputation as finals chokers

As I've said before they need a new star player LINDA LOVELACE

I think Roosy definitly takes all the pressure of our boys by telling them to 'just go out there and enjoy it' and consequently everyone involved with the club seems to have this feeling that the finals are a bonus in a rebuilding year.
I think this is a big part in the team playing so well.

Port definitely have alot more expectation on them for the coming game than Sydney. They finished 3 games clear at the top of the ladder, are playing a Swans team which has had a season beyond pretty much everyone's wildest dreams, has stumbled a few times in the past month, at home.

I'd be interested to see the odds for the game, but I reckon you'd be able to get somewhere in the order of $5 (maybe even more)on the Swans, maybe more, to win next Sunday.

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

As has been said, there is far more pressure on them than us because of this, and also the fact that we have nothing to lose in this game because we weren't sposed to be top 8 let alone top 4, and I'm betting roosey will have said something along the lines of "go out there, take it all in and have fun because this is why you play football." I'll be the first to say i'm not confident but I still think we CAN do it, provided we turn up to play from the first bounce and that we stick to our winning formula. Port on the other hand will be wanting to play psychological and tactical games til the cows come home in the hope of pulling something out of the hat and proving they aren't chokers.
