    Taking The Challenge To Port

We could talk all day about the Port players that will cause us head aches and the ones that are match winners cetra, so forth.

However, I think that we have to take a similar game to them that we have taken to Brisbane this season, that is PLAY OUR OWN GAME AND IF THAT IS GOOD ENOUGH...SO BE IT.

Choco is so full of tactics, he is obsessed with them in fact, but the teams that have beaten them in the first round of the finals, Hawks & Pies took their own game to Footy Park!

    A hard working midfield
    Hard at the footy
    Sticky tackling
    Creative and confident back 6
    Hard running
    Accurate conversion

This is the game that took us to 2nd this year, if we replicate this, we will not be beaten.

I think we actually have to do something similar to what they do. They bomb it in a fair bit to full-forward, where they have one or two players with a lot of skill when the ball is on the ground ie Dew, Pickett etc. I reckon with O'Keefe down there and Schneider to pick up crumbs, we are going to get a fair few of our goals in that way.
    We hate Anthony Rocca
    We hate Shannon Grant too
    We hate scumbag Gaspar
    But Leo WE LOVE YOU!

I don't agree there actually Charlie, the Crows tried a fair bit of that on Sundy and were continually outmarked by Brogan and their other back talls (Wakelin could be missing though). I think the only way we're going to win is to run, run, run, particularly through half forward with a lot of running shots. We can mix it up a bit particularly if Doyle goes forward and we can get him one out but other than that RUN!!

I didn't actually sit and watch the entire game, but from what I did see, there seemed to be a large hole between the Crows FF and CHF and the ball seemed to be stopping at CHF a lot. Do we sit Doyle the square, Pebbles in the pocket, play Hall aound 70m out and have Pebbles leading into the gap between or Nicks if he's played? This would make some space for Doyle, who probably wont be leading much. It also frees up Davis and Schneider to run through.

The other thing we have to watch is Wanganeens drive out of the backline, if the ball is spilt as he crumbs very well.

another instance of how we miss fixter, he would be excellent at tagging wanganeen as a forward...

Sydney has to run, run, run as floppinab suggested. When we are full of run we are at our best. If we can produce plenty of run our creativity with the ball will lead to many goals.

We have had stages in games this year where we were awesome. When Sydney play the hard, full on running footy they can blitz teams.
