    Mind games

Get ready for a week of subtle and not-so-subtle mind games.

An excellent opening to proceedings from Roos and Gibbs by protracting the O'Loughlin 'will he or won't he' decision - presumably he's no chance as Buckley was last year, but will still take up some of Williams' planning time as he tries to second-guess Sydney's thinking.

    Hopefully plenty more to come.

The only mind game we need to play this week is with our own players.

      WE MUST START WELL.

Port are carrying the 'chokers' tag and whether deserved or not, if they get 3 or 4 goals up early it is the last thing they will be thinking of.

BUT, if we can jump them, silence the crowd and get the Port players thinking 'Oh @@@@ I don't beleive it, here we f'n go again' (apologies to Kevin Bloody Wilson) the doubts will quickly take over.

They are under ENORMOUS pressure to perform, let's use it to our advantage.
Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09

Add to that Roosy's comment re: top 4 position

?It gives you the opportunity to have a bad game in the first week and still be involved in the finals.?

I DO NOT want to play an injured Magic. Not only will he be a liability but he has greater chance of reinjuring himself.

Last year the Pies won without Buckley.

We win, he doesn't play means he gets another 2 weeks before he plays again.
