    Frosty and Nicks

Just herd roosy talking and that the two most likley to come back are Nicks and Frosty, the reason being both have finals expriance and have been playing super football in the two's. Frosty will dominate against these imposters.

Frosty could not dominate a quilt on a cold winters morn!

Frosty doesn't know the meaning of the word 'domination', let alone inflicting it himself. How he is on an AFL list, remains a mysetery to most people.

      Nicks should play though.

It has come down to a war of attrition and I think Frosty might be the last man standing . In other words I think that he will be in the team against Port this week. Frosty -13 predicted this months ago. A great virtue is loyalty .

It's going to be a big call for the match committee.

Do they go with the safe option of McPherson who isn't going to win the game for us but has the experience and should be able to make a decent contribution to the team
          or
do they take a big risk and pick young Ablett in the hope that he can rise to the occasion and resurrect his career

          Thursday night should be interesting.

I don't like the idea of bringing in McPherson and Nicks as they are small type players, we need height down back and not a bit of run. Midfield isn't an area that we need to improve - IT'S DEFENCE

I can handle Nicks because he can play in both the midfield and the attack and bob up with a goal or two, but why McPherson??? I don't buy the excuse he brings experience, because he didn't bring it at the start of the season when he was woeful and just because he is ripping up the Canberra League doesn't mean he is a type of player we need more than anywhere else. If its experience we want, then I say go with Warfe, who at least brings a little bit of height to defence. McPherson just doesn't add anything logical to our side other than experience.

Powell is my pick to come in along side Nicks.

I'm with Frosty 13 on this one, Frosty will dominate if he is given a chance. His clean disposal and good football brain will be invaluable out there, expecially in a final.

If you are correct however was he dropped.

I'll take Ablett or Powell (and a roughy MJ to allow Goodes to play up foward)

Ablett has never done a thing, shown nothing. If his last name was different I reckon he would have gone long ago.

Frosty was injured throughout the year, it's pretty hard to get a game when you are injured. He has built up time in the reserves and is now ready to play. I think you would find most players get dropped at some stage, that shouldn't stop them being given another chance.

Frosty's been playing OK in the reserves, but he's not setting it on fire IMO. I think from the games I've seen, he's been performing much the same as Nog. So we're back to the question, do you use Frosty who has the experience, or do you go with the younger Ablett, to provide him with that experience? I would not want to be the one making decisions this week. A hard one indeed.

My Choice though for what it's worth Ablett - I have nothing against Frosty, but I'd go that way.

Define Dominate I really don't think you know what your typing as Mcpherson has never dominated.

Are you serious?? There have been plenty of games that Frosty has dominated. He hasn't in the last couple of years due to injury and poor form.

My point is, it's time to bring him back, give him a chance and let him show his stuff. I would rather give him one last chance then delist him at the end of the year.

Holy crap, the Frosty bandwagon is bigger than the Nicks one. It's time to switch wagons!

I'm ok with this. Powell is worthy of much consideration however.

Dominate is definitely the wrong word.

But Frosty does have experience and a good kick so if he can deliver a few on the chest to Barry he would've done his job.

A final in Adelaide is no time to throw a young player to the lions.
