Is Roos playing Ducks and Drakes already

Frosty has been (appropriate term) named on the 7 man bench

This whole "X is a has been/soft/useless" b.s. doesn't exactly sound like the talk of alleged "supporters" of the team. Sure, if a player has a bad week, the specific incidents are up for discussion, there's no denying a clanger, but save the random badmouthing for the opposition!

I reckon take these 4 benchers:
        O'Keefe, Doyle, Seymour, McPherson.

If cressa is out, either meiklejohn or ablett.
Using hypothesis testing via confidence intervals:
Nick Davis mark inside 50 = goal

I agree with all this, except if Cressa is out, there is no way they'd play meiklejohn. We would have too many talls.

Depends on the weather. I don't think 3 talls is too many, particularly when Port are a lot larger than us.

The incessant bitching on this site about certain Swans players being past it. Don't tell me you haven't noticed!

                Makes sense.

Leave Cressa's replacement to the last minute. If conditions are good, play Meiklejohn. If it's wet and windy, play Ablett.

That's how Malthouse or Sheedy would manage it.

I like Meiklejohn for the future, but not for Sunday, we can win if we go man on man, running at them hard, every player has to win his position, I have not seen Ablett in the twos, it could be a big chance for him, we need pace in defence, Burgoyne, Pickett, Cornes etc and the midfield to fight for every ball, if they cut loose we?re dead in the water, we hold em? in the middle run off half back flank, help our teammates at every bounce of the ball, slow it down if they get a run on? kick truly when in attack and we?re home!

                  It?s easy really?Go Swannies?.
Sports do not build character. They reveal it....Heywood Broun

I always turn to the sports pages first, which record people's accomplishments. The front page has nothing but man's failures......Earl Warren

Definitely agree about "The John" - Goodes, LRT and Doyle means we have more than anought big men - he would just be a liability if he played...like last week. AI also think Ablett shoudl be put in over Frosty. Roos has been supporting teh youth all year and Ablett has been playing well in the 2s and deserves his chance. I'm glad Sunny is out - from what i've seen this year he's done little to impress me and i am amazed he has got as much game time as he has!

Agree with all of this. Who knows what will happen on Sunday?

"Deserves a chance" and "supporting the youth all year" are two expressions that become null and void when you are playing a spot in the preliminary final. This is not a time for blooding and experimenting.

If Roosy believes Frosty is the man for the job, I'm with Roosy.

Bart I guess that's why they pay him and not us But you're right, he's the one with game plan and obviously he knows better as to how how it should all gel together.
