    cressa names, sunny out

it is a real shame that Jarrad did his hamstring so close to the finals. it would have been great experience for him to play finals football in his first year in seniors!!
i wish him the best of luck in his recovery!!!

having said this, i also wish Rowan the best in his recovery from the hip flexor injury he sustained last weekend!!
    Go North Shore Bombers!!!!

Why not play "The John" instead? I know i would prefer Doyle as well, but he's only played 1 game this season and 2 or 3 possessions last week - certainly seems like the coaching staff are using an unproven product!

Doyle provides a strong option at full forward too

If fit, Doyle is in our best 22. Even if Ball hadn't injured himself, Doyle would still have been in the side, with someone like LRT dropping out. And as for Meiklejohn being more of a "proven product", that's just rubbish.

I didn't say that...It was just said that now is not the time for experiments and i think, on the back of Doyle's inclusion, that seems to have been proven wrong. I agree that Doyle is the best big man for our team marching into Sunday but as Paul Roos has been saying all year, he wants to really play the kids and build a team that can take us somewhere in teh next 2 to 3 years. Putting someone like Ablett in over McPherson is the exact move that would seem to support this argument. From what i've heard both have been playing great footy but when you think about it neitehr palyer is going to have huge impact on the game - i just think there is a possibility an Ablett inclusion has teh potential to pay off more both for Sunday and the rest of our finals campaign. I guess that's just me - i'd rather see the Swans take a punt then have to revert back to warhorses of our club.

                      You've got to be joking.

Sunny has a damn lot of talent. Probably one of our best skilled youngsters!

May have a **** load of talent but he'd hasn't shown much in teh games he has played. He committed some terribel errors in teh Collingwood game

I counted one - it was a skill error where the wet, slippery ball came of the side of his boot. He had lots of senior team mates who made equally bad errors that night.

I watched the game again (and again) every night this week and LRT made a great contribution as well as some errors. Doyle, when he was on, wasn't so effective.
