No Roger James for the Power is the surprise. I'm pretty surprised Cressa was named, after all he all but admitted he was out in the paper yesterday. No need risking him this week.

I would like Meiklejohn to come in so that Goodes and Doyle can spend more time in the forward line in the absence of Magic.

    My final changes would be:
    IN: McPherson, Nicks, Meiklejohn
    OUT: O'Loughlin, Cresswell, Sundqvist

Meiklejohn shouldnt play. He is not ready to play at the level and we also have LRT, Doyle and Goodsy to take the ruck.

Yeah, i agree with not playing meiklejohn. Too many tall players.

            Benchers should be:
            O'Keefe, McPherson, Nicks, Seymour

If Cressa is out, put in Ablett. I just dont think stevens would contribute much.
Using hypothesis testing via confidence intervals:
Nick Davis mark inside 50 = goal

Davis should be in the foward line and bolton centre. Why the other way around???

I think its safe to say that the side won't line up as named

Why would you bring Ablett in? He has shown nothing in the home and away season so it's hardly likely that he will play well in a tough final.

Tall if the weather is not windy and wet - option on playing smaller if it's not.

I hope for no wind and a little wet - we would close any gap with these type of conditions would make it a little harder for free flowing play. Our best option IMO

Our smalls have done well over the year and now is the time to lift above Port.

Nixy and Abblet / Frosty would be better than talls in the wet.

Of the 7 players named on the interchange, here are my thoughts:

ROK and Snapper are certainties, as is Doyle, which leaves Meiklejohn out of the side, because we already have LRT and Goodes.

Of the remaining three (Frosty, Ablett and Stevens), 1 must play and probably 2 since Cressa will almost certainly not play. Assuming that 2 will play, Frosty will definitely be 1 of them, because there's no way you'd pick both Ablett and Stevens before Frosty. All three are probably as random as the others but at least he has experience. Out of Stevens and Ablett, I think surely Ablett will get a run since he has been named in the BOGs each week recently in the 2's.

However, having said that, I think Roos may be tempted to play Stevens to cover Magic. Hasn't he already done this throughout the year? I don't agree with this choice, because Stevens has shown nothing when he has played in the seniors this year.

The naming of Ablett, Stevens and Nicks could be a bonus.

I reckon these 3 guys are playing for their futures at the club.

I hope they put in big ones if given the chance.

Stevens and Nicks can cover back and forward.

Ablett can be useful on the wide open spaces at AAMI

Without wanting to upset Sanecow - Frosty ! - NO WAY !!!!
