We should start making plans for next week. This game is gone anyway. IMO, the team's attitude wasn't there from the beginning. This is not another H&A game but a final and it's about time that the palyers take stuff seriously or we might as well look towards 2004. Is this too pesimistic? Of course it is, because I feel it that way!

Team's attitude ??? What you've been to training ? Talked to the boys etc ? Roosy's been talking about the joys of next week big time. Ploy only. Roosy will want to win this big time

          Ditto.

Do you (SXP) have a crystal ball with which you have foreseen their attitude?

Fosdike was interviewed on 2UE at 6-45 and didn't sound like a man who wasn't playing.

He also said that Cressa trained strongly tonight and he expected him to play.

Boy if Lrt goes to centre half back we really are stuffed.surely Schauble,Craig Bolton or even leo barry are better options.Even Seymour and Goodes would be given a go before lrt.

Tredrea or Cornes would kill LRT at CHB. Big mistake IMHO.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

He wouldn't be my first choice, but if we're having problems down there then LRT should certainly be given a go at CHB.

He's tall and quick enough to go with Tredrea, although Tredrea would certainly be stronger.

If we're getting beaten down there why wouldn't you throw the kid into the deep end and see how he performs?

I see the nice lady on afl.com.au also said that "John" Meikeljohn was on the emergency list and that ROK would miss his "first" finals game.
So maybe she's wrong about the injury too ?

I remember the last finals game we played in against Hawthorn O'keefe kicked the first goal and injured himself just after in the first 5 minutes

When the game is gone, or about to be, sure it might be worth a try, but not as a starting plan.

I mean, LRT would fill the hole, not take Tredrea or Cornes. I think Schauble will get the job on Tredrea.

LRT would play the way Roos did for us and just cover ground and provide a marking option down back

Basic: I want us to win.
Next choice: I want us to play the way we have done to get this far - fast, open, back themselves, give it a red hot go. If we can do that I'll tolerate losing. But I'd rather win!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

That sounds like a pretty reasonable point of view. I really hope they just go out and do what they do the best and let the result take care of itself.
