Can Sydney go against the flow?

With both the underdogs ( am I right in saying that?) going down so far this weekend, I'm thinking that Sydney can go against the trend. There will have to be a massive effort from everybody but I'm confident of this.

I would have thought Essendon were the underdogs.

Don't worry, no matter how many positive vibes people are sending, Swans we'll go down.

              Of course we can.

I think the players should be offended that the general football public gives them no chance today against Port.

The pre-game build up to this final is exactly the same as almost every big game this year. I am sick to death of comments from so-called experts (mostly Melbourne based) who say Sydney doesn't have the class, not enough talls, no ruck, weak defence, lack of goal scoring options.

We wouldn't have finished fourth unless we had a quality side and just like the past 22 rounds, we will slip under their guard again and take out this game.

In our favour, Sydney is well coached, hungry and has a deep pride in its performance.

I will never give up on a side with the likes of Goodes, Williams, Hall, Kirk, Schneider, Shauble, Bolton, Kenneally, Barry, Maxfield, Davis, Cresswell and Crouch in its ranks.

I think we'll give this game a real shake.

              Carn Swans!!

It's a matter not of pessimism , but rather of realism.
We will be hard pushed to compensate for so many absentees.

The best we can hope for is an honourable defeat.
I think we will lose by 8-9 goals with a score around 120-70.
