    best win since 1933

Yep not since our last grand final victory have we had a victory as good as this. Just when I thought we couldnt top the sweetness of the 1996 prelim, we have - this is Sydneys brightest day since 1933... hope fully to be bettered in a few weeks time...

Heck! Don't get ahead of yourself mate! I was thinking greatest win since the '96 prelim, myself. But maybe it eclipses it. I dunno. But I can happily say it doesn't matter, cause it's just SOOOOOO sweet...
    We hate Anthony Rocca
    We hate Shannon Grant too
    We hate scumbag Gaspar
    But Leo WE LOVE YOU!

In terms of performance etc - this was a much better performance than 96 Prelim IMHO. Understrength, away to the minor premiers who had won 7 (?) straight, hadn't been beaten at home since Rd 2, and then having only 1 fit player on the bench for virtually all of the 2nd half.

I think that says it all.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Totally agree 96 prelim was at home, the achievement today should not be underestimated.

Undermanned, understrength...gutsy....what else can you say? MONUMENTAL win against the season's benchmark side. It's interesting what Mick Malthouse (hoik. ...phttttttt....p'tang) said after the wobbles game, that he thought Sydney about where the wobbles were last year.... I reckon it's within our abilities to prove him wrong and go one better.....
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

This is our first finals win away from the SCG since 1945, so a pretty major achievement!
