Two quality goals too, when the side needed them. No real passengers today - apart from the injured guys.
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out.... Des' Weblog
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."
Cressa's passing into the forward line was fantastic too.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."
Congratulations and Jubilations to Cresswell - Can't believe how relaxed and cool he was with that second kick. Go Team Go. The Swans played so well - Melbourne Press have to say that.
The team did well - may they go on and win the Preliminary Final - then how do we ensure we secure Grand Final tickets.

I've been a critic of Fosdike, but he had a fantastic game yesterday. He made some great tackles, none more so near the end when he had injured his hand and was sent up to the forward line.
Good for you JS... I wish it were true for other swans "supporters" on here... CRESSA is a dead set LEGEND...

That's two great games in a row for Fosdike. I hope it marks a turning point in his career.
Also special mention to Matthew Nicks. There have been times when I 've wondered about the effort he puts in, especially this year. Just before the game Bazza went over to him and gave him a bit of a rev up and I thought he went on to play his best game of the season. Lots of tackles and shepherds, diving courageously for loose balls, plus some real class distribution, deft little handpasses to team mates sprinting past him. Well done Nicksy!
I went on the SMH website but I didn't see it. I heard that Cressa was shaking his guernsey to the Swans supporters. Everybody has to admit that Cressa is an absolute legend!!!!!! He's even in the team of the century! Having Cressa back lifted the players to a victory.
