The players surely didnt need any inspiration but if needed Roosys plight surely would have provided a boost to moral, what a gun.

Paul Roos is the main reason this team is greater than the sum of its parts. The man was born to coach!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Come on Gloveski this man IS the new supercoach! He also brings a style and grace rarely seen in the thugs that seem to make good coaches....Malthouse, Matthews, Sheedy et al, how nice to see him run his race without the phoney bullcrap of the likes of Sheedy that the press down here salivate over. What a shame the Dockers did not rid us of another week of Sheedy's woeful rhetoric!

The only true words Sheedy spoke this year is when he said Roos'y makes us old coaches look ugly....yes and outdated / outmoded Sheeds, have you got the message?
Sports do not build character. They reveal it....Heywood Broun

I always turn to the sports pages first, which record people's accomplishments. The front page has nothing but man's failures......Earl Warren

I loved when they showed after the match Roosy reaction when the siren went he was basically jumping on his foot.

The commentators said something on the lines of I don't think he would be feeling the pain right now

I remember when I was on crutches when we beat carlton in tadhg's first game - It was tough and I wasn't anywhere near as psyched as roosey looked today! Roosey's da man!

              Rooooossssss

You can talk about Mathews, Sheedy, Pagan and Malthouse. They've proven they've got it. Roos also has it. It's only a matter of time.

I have 100% faith that Paul Roos will coach our team to a premiership.
