    Congrats to Jude

Not many are talking about Jude Bolton for his efforts or the All-Australian team or B&F, but he has had a sensational consistent year!

I remember that some last year here and elsewhere were calling for him to be trade bait and I can't help but remember his third quarter in the pre-season game against Richmond at the SCG where he was absolutely abused by spectators.

He got his game together and has played absolutely inspiring football and is a very big reason that the Swans have done so well. On ya Bolts!

    He has certainly improved.

Does a lot thet he is uncredited for.

Unfortunately he still has some problems with his disposal.

Nothing career ending (even Kelly had disposal problems) but hopefully it can be worked on

Congrats on a great season and the huge improvement Jude!!!

I was one calling for Bolton to go. Last year I said that I thought he should get one more year as he had potential but didn't seem to be delivering. Well, he has delivered this year and hopefully will continue to improve. What is really nice to see though is that the other players are following his lead and throwing themselves into the contest. Good to see that intenstiy throughout the team.

Tremendous year. he did some really good bottling up work at port...but his kicking is still suspect...2 almost gimmes missed on Sunday...then again the Schneiderman "missed" one from dead in front too, which looked to me to have gone thru (must watch the replay AGAIN to be certain)..anyway Jude, keep practising the kicking.....
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Thought the Schneider one was 50/50, sailed over the post, should have gone throught he middle though!

His kicking has been a revelation all year. Only on Sunday did it let him down. He has kicked quite a number of goals from similar position this year. In the last couple of years he was always, without failing, missing those shots. He has come a damn long way in 12 months!

And anyway, he's kicked 13 goals 6 behinds for the season, not bad, considering many of those have been from around the 50m ling.

He's actually kicked 30.21 for the season, which is outstanding for a first-year player (and not bad for anyone).

His missed goal in the second quarter was very disappointing, but it was another example of that strong fade he gets on the ball at times. Very handy when kicking from the left boundary line though.

EDIT: Sorry - just realised you meant Bolton not Schneider. Jude's kicking at goal is normally fairly good, but those two misses in the third quarter could have been critical. Fortunately they weren't and hopefully he can redeem himself Saturday week. I thought his game on Sunday was okay in terms of intensity, but below his performance during the year.

Haha, you had me worried for a bit then! I agree his game was well down on his usual performances this year. He'll be more than eager to make up for it next week!
