    Andrew Schauble

Please tell me that with his good form of late and our lack of key backmen that Andrew Schauble has done enough to have his contract renewed for another 3 years.

How dirty would Schauble have been on Matthew Nicks for giving away that careless push in the back that gave Tredrea the gimme goal... Schauble had him covered perfectly. Holding Tredrea goalless in a big game would have been huge... I guess holding him to only one was anyway.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

He has certainly been an unsung hero for us. I'd have no hesitation renewing his contract. His demolition of Lynch in round 20 confirmed his class.
Nicksy's free kick was a soft one - some umpires may have let that one go.

i have been a big knocker of schaubs, not particularly on these boards though... as soon as warfe was dropped (FINALLY!) schauble became my next whipping boy, but he has had a cracker the last couple of rounds!

i think his poor form at the beginning of he season mustve had something to do with his injuries...

Just remember he was our B&F a couple of years ago, so he couldn't be that bad!

Personally, I think he has done a great job this year filling some pretty big shoes.

As for Nicks' free, that was a joke.
