    Momentum Is A Wonderful Thing

There is no doubt we would be watching our last Swans game for 2003 this weekend if we had lost on Sunday to Port.

Our injury ravaged bodies were just about out of gas, mentally we would have been fragile after the loss.

By the time we get back up off the hospital bed and back on the park, will we have timed it so our momentum is in check for the Prelim?

What does everyone else think? How will momentum (or excessive games) effect us and our competitors?

I reckon the Crows are looking hotter than the Champs, but Brisbane is deadly at home, who has the advantage?

By the way, does anyone else sense that Collingwood are getting to be as pent up and anal as Port were leading up to this game, ie denying themselves the joy of savouring their victory?

We needed the week off. If we can get those injured back on the park we have a good chance to get to the big one, especially if the other four belt each other around.
I'd tip Brisbane at home - Matthews is more cunning than Ayres, even if he doesn't have Voss to work with.
And no, I don't think Collingwood are getting uptight - I think they're just about certain for the GF.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
