So what's better- the SCG or Telstra Stadium

These figures have gotten me thinking about how I'm slowly warming to Telstra Stadium as a venue for Swans matches.

The SCG still feels like home. But with crowds of this size you cannot go past Telstra. The bigger the crowd the better off the club is. And the more marketable it will be to sponsors and ground signage and box-holding partners.

If we do go well this season, I can see the membership department being bombarded with new members. I can see a crowd average bigger than 1997 (especially given that the 3 blockbuster TS crowds could all well sell-out next season.)

I could even see the AFL stepping in and forcing us to move a couple of extra matches to Homebush in the next few seasons.

      Your thoughts?

That side is where the StadeOz members sit. They might have released some that they were holding.

The AFL apparently don't think it will get to 75000

My guess 73001 with a late rush on tickets as the day draws nearer.

What is the possibility that the Sydney final could have a higher attendance than the Melb one - seeing as the capacity of the grounds will be roughly equal
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

Wasn't there something about if the Swans average 50000 per game we get an extra game at Stad de Oz.
