Since he burst onto the scene in Round 1 I've been the 'man's great supporter. But do you think finals nerves got to him in Adelaide? He did great support but missed goals he normally never would.

But what about the speed of his reactions in getting the ball to BH for the Nick D goalsquare mark!

Don't read too much into that, everyone misses occasionally. Nick Davis is the so called best kick in the team and he missed a pretty easy shot.

Nick Davis probably is the best kick in the team, and his was on a much tighter angle and with a lot more pressure on.

But you're right, don't read too much into it.

Although I should say, I was more suprised and dissapointed with Nick missing his than with Adam.

People keep raving about his accuracy, but it's not that fantastic. He has kicked 30.21 for the year with a few OOBOTF. Pretty good, but hardly support for everyone to keep raving about how accurate he is and how unusual it is for him to miss shots. I don't think nerves got to him. I think he stood up very well under finals pressure, however he is prone to occasionally spray his shots.

He may be one of those who kicks from deep in pocket and misses set shots, or maybe having female RWO'ers idolising him is putting him off his game?

I think AAMI stadium is notorious for a swirly breeze, so missing there might come down to experience.

I'm always happy when Schneider or Davis get the ball within 50 metres, because you KNOW they are going to back themselves and have a shot. I reckon Schneider's accuracy will improve with experience, he'll learn to settle down and to judge how much time he's got to get his kick away etc.

He's only nineteen and he's one of those players who can kick fantastic goals but then misses the set shots. I wouldn't look too much into it. I don't think female RWO fans would put him off his game

Schneids is a wonderful footballer with a deadly left foot, but he needs to look for his forwards more often.

He was unlucky with the shot in front last week.

It should have been from the goal-line. How Hardwick got away with a late attack on Schneider was puzzling to say the least.

Adam probably saw Hardwick coming which put him off.

We know Hardwick is a thug and Schneids obviously realised he was about to get smashed.

I reckon schneider set his standards earlier this season. That is why we seem to doubt him a bit when he doesnt play as good as those first rounds.

But thinking about it overall, it has been a great season from the debutant.

?? Apart from two misses at goal, I thought he played a very good game against Port. A couple of the newspapers listed him amongst the best, and while it was a pretty even performance after the best 4, his listing in the best wasn't unjustified.

I was particularly impressed by his final quarter, where he got a handful of important possessions in the defensive half and didn't panic with a single one of them. He certainly plays with a confidence that belies his age and experience.
