    100% to Play

I see Voss has been picked for tonight's game after all. I reckon he was going to play all along - albeit at 80% fitness with his dodgy knee - and the Lions have just stage managed it with first the bad news that he will mis then the miraculous recovery that lifts the side.

Clubs always say "he won't play unless he is 100% fit". At this time of the year, that would mean playing 3-a-side. Where did they do their maths? Wouldn't you be tempted to play an 80% fit Magic in preference to a 100% fit rookie?

Yeah, it's not as if they have a second chance to use him if they can't win tonight.

Voss and O'Loughlin are different propositions.

O'Loughlin can be dropped in the forward pocket and so long as he can sprint every now and then needs to make and slot it through.
He won't be able to run around as much all game, but would still be quite effective.

If the Lions play Voss, you'd think he would be thought of as someone who is gonna play a fair bit all night.
80% fit would perhaps upset the team balance coming on and off the bench.

I'd take 80% of magic rather than a 100% rookie.
He would still be much more effective...

IMO MO won't play next week. He does not appear to be far enough advanced at this stage.

Hammies are dodgy things and can go again at any time. He will have to sprint at times even if he sits in the FP. Would hate him to re-injure and miss the GF if we win.

Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

Voss is more than capable of playing a valuable role in the forward line for Brisbane. His sheer will to win the ball often creates goals from nothing. If he plays tonight I suspect he'll spend most of his time there.

I think either he or Magic at 80% is worth playing. The question is, where is the cut-off. Would you play them at 70% fit, 50%?

Imo 80% is the cut-off for MO hes just so dangerous up forward.
