    Voss tag

    With Voss taking on this super sub type role should we have The Captain ready to tag him when he comes on, or give Kirky Akermanis or Black for the whole game?

    Voss will obviously be a key player so in my opinion we should put out best on him.

      I agree and won't be surprised to see Voss coming off the bench again but we really need The Captain to be in the centre for most of the game. It's a tough call. Who did Matthews take off when Voss came on? I was thinking Kennelly may get the job...

          I reckon Mathews is the man for the job. He's a bit bigger and stronger than Kirk, and in any case, I reckon we need Kirk for Black. Tiger's too light for Voss and his tackling isn't yet good enough to stop Voss breaking through the packs.

          Crouch on Aker
          Mathews on Voss
          Kirk on Black

          Tiger might be an option on Lappin, particularly if he can hurt Lappin on the rebound.

          The one I can't see an obvious match-up for is Power, who's been another excellent player for Brisbane this year, and was good again last night. Fixter, circa 2002, would be great!

              How can you rebound from Half Forward? Just with Tadhg playing on Lappin and all... Lappin -is- a Half Back Flanker... an All-Australian one!

                  Schneider is the one Lizz. We already have enough fire power up forward, assuming Micky and O'keefe play. Then we have Hall, Davis, and Doyle and Goodes pushing forward. There is also LRT.

                  Schneider played on Power in the 2nd half when we played them at the GABBA, a few weeks back. He played particularly well when he was on him.

                  However if Micky, Doyle and O'keefe don't come up, we will need Schneider to play up forward. So as to who is next in line, to get Power, I've got no idea.

                      No question - Kirk on Black for the whole game...Voss may (rightfully) be getting the accolades but Black is the key to them firing...

                      Crouch on the speedy Aka.

                      I just worry Matthews doesn't have the leg speed or nous to run with Voss - I suspect Williams may get the initial nod when Voss is out there.....and considering he's certain to miss a good portion of the game it still gives Williams time to drive forward....

                          If Voss starts on the ground Kirk should get the job a bit of tough tackling would really test out he's knee. The type of things Voss does are inspirational also it would be good to keep a lid on him.If Voss starts on the bench Kirk Black & Crouch on Akemanis
