    Team v Lions

My team on paper at this stage would be as follows:

    Mathews Schauble Crouch
    Barry C Bolton Kenelly
    Maxfield Cresswell Williams
    Davis LRT O'Lauchlan
    Schnider Hall Nicks
    Goodes Kirk J Bolton

    O'Keeffe
    Stevens
    Fosdike
    Sunny

This is assuming Mick, Ryno & Sunny get up, Saddo is out and the 3 injured on the weekend won't be able to play.

I think Powell and Ablett would be close for selection, but with a prelim final at stake we need more experience.

You've got Kennelly in the team!

He should be fine to play though.

I'd probably leave Ablett in the team, at the expense of Sunny. Sunny doesn't have enough runs of the board to displace Ablett, now that he's got his foot in the door, and Ablett did his bit on the weekend. But admittedly its a toss up between the two.

No problem with O'Keefe coming in as a definite for Seymour. And Doyle will probably miss. But who else comes in if Mickey isn't right? Guess we'd be playing Ablett AND Sunny (and LRT, Schneider, Stevens - will be an inexperienced team!)

      I'm assuming Kennelly will play.

Sunny v Ablett is a tough choice. My reasons for Sunny is that he has played more senior footy this year and has performed better than Ablett when given a chance. So if Mick doesn't play they will both get a start you would think.

100% correct in saying our experience is a concern. Roos is going to have to work his magic and empower the young guys.

Didn't Sunny do a hamstring last week?

I don't think Sunny has added anything significant this year and I would not pick him. Needs another pre-season, and a retirement (Cressa) to be given proper game time imo.

Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

I reckon we have a good mix with Cresswell, maxfield, Williams, Schauble, Nicks, O'loughlan and Hall all being pretty experienced.

and Bolton, kirk, mathews, kennelly, fosdike, goodes all being around for a few years now.

At this stage only Seymour is out though injury from the team that played last weekend. But Saddo, O'Keefe and Magic all look like they will come in. So Stevens and Ablett look like the other outs

I hope Micky comes up, but I hope Saddo doesn't.

Don't worry about the experience folks, we have a good mix of old blokes and young blokes accross the board.

I doubt Doyal will get another go this year.

I think we need MJ in the side unless we are planning to ruck Hall which perhaps we could do if Micky O is fully fit.
We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!

Sundqvist is definately out with a hamstring injury.

I suspect Seymour out - O'Keefe in, I think they will not risk O'Loughlin and Saddington - although I think O'Loughlin is more of a chance.

It is silly to suggest that we will not risk O'Lauchlan. This is a do or die match that we cannot take lightly. There is no point resting Mick for the GF if we get beaten on Sat night. Even if he is 60% fit they should and will play him.

In the interview today Roosy was saying that there's a 50/50 chance for Mick and Saddo to play. Thye'll make a decision on Friday morning.

                            HEard the interview.

Just as silly to play a player who's hamstring goes early leaving Sydney an extra player down

                            We need fit players
