    GF Tickets

I am a Melbourne Member with GF Preference.

So where am I in the queue when it comes to getting tickets if we make it?

Say we can purchase or potentially purchase tickets on the Tuesday, do GF Preference people get an allocated time and venue on that day?

Right now we don't know what the system will be. Presumably an announcement will be made next week (early in the week I hope)

It's more likely to be Monday or Sunday than Tuesday though.

AFAIK you will have equal priority with those in Sydney but I have no idea how that will be done.

From what I can gather, if we make the GF, there will probably be 2 venues, 1 in Sydney and 1 in Melbourne.

Assuming that each member in the queue buys the full 8 tickets they're allowed to, that means you really need to be in the first 1000 in line to be guaranteed a spot - so make that the first 500 in each city.

JS, do you know anyone we can bribe to stand in line while we're at the game?

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

We could send a non-supporter like J? (quickly ducks for cover)

You won't be able to buy 8 tickets each. I'm 98% sure that it's ONE ticket per full membership. It would be an absolute shambles if it was otherwise.

CG, I meant the full 8 tickets you're allowed to buy in any one transaction (one ticket per membership card of course). I wouldn't expect each member to queue up for their individual ticket!

She's already indicated a semi-willingness to leave early, with a certain amount of "you will owe me big for this while the sun and the moon set unto a thousand generations" implied. We shall see!

It will be one ticket per membership card, max of 8 cards per transaction, one transaction per queue position
