    I don't get this......

    I read here every day how great it is to be considered underdogs.

    And I also read everyone complaining about us not getting respect and being classed as underdogs....

    Of course Sheedy and Hird are gonna come out and say Brisbane for the flay.
    The Lions just thrashed them.

    The media are simply sticking to a safe bet in picking the Lions for a win.
    Finals are different, and the Lions are obviosly no strangers to the added pressure etc.

    They are a big danger
    The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.

          I know it's a catch 22 situation. We want respect but we like going in as underdogs!

          I think that when we go in as favourites, we tend to get complacent. The game against Hawthorn for example.

          The thing that really bothers me is how almost unanimously we've been written off. I wouldn't mind as much if some of the so-called experts gave the boys some credit for their efforts this year. Guess they'll all feel like absolute geese when Stewie and Roosy hold up that cup on the 27th.

          Or they just say and write that we were lucky.........

                      Yeah.

                      We lose on Sat and we are just a 2003 finalist.

                      We win on Sat we are a Grand Finalist, one win from the ultimate prize

                      That's when I will get excited.

                      Let the media bag us.
                      I don't like reading it much either, so I don't :lol

                      I think the best thing to do right now is stay drunk for the rest of the week (any excuse )

                          Agree 100%. I'm refusing to read the Melbourne press this week, because it's full of Collingwood anyway and besides they'd bag the Swans too. I'll keep to read RWO and that's all what I need until Saturday. Who cares about the media anyway!
