    Roos chant

It'd be great to have some "Roos" chants on Saturday night. It really confuses the other team and supporters as they think we're booing. On the other hand, it may spoil it for new Swans supporters who don't know what's going on, too, and just think we're bad sports.

    Is it a good idea?

That should be a "Hey Jude" to the famous tune.

Why can't we yell "Hall" just like "Ball" when Bazza gets it?

        And "Magic" for Mickey?

If we get player specific yells/chants/whatever you call it, then the opposition can't copy like they are doing with the Syyyydneeeey chant.

Other ideas? Really needs to be one or two syllables only.

At the tennis, after an ace, the swedes used to sing "that's the way, uh uh, I like it" and I always thought that was good ... It would need a lot of coordination though! They also did "If you love [insert player], clap your hands, [clap clap]". At least everyone knows that and it worked for us at Port Adelaide after the game!

Everybody seems to know to do the "oooooouuuuuuummmppph" (or something thereabouts) when there's a ball in, so if we decided on a certain chant and did it often enough, it could work well. The only thing is, we have to make it loud enough for the players to hear it. There was an interview with Schneider when he said that he never heard the "Schneider" chant that went up during the Mebourne game (I think?), but that someone else had heard it and mentioned it to him.

The one at the cricket is pretty funny when the crowd starts the "Hey [insert player name here], give us a wave!" It only works when their fielding though, because most of them are doing very little. Don't think it would work so well with Aussie Rules, somehow.

How about selecting one player to give a big "whoooshhh" or something similar tp whenever he kicks the ball? For the whole season/their whole career... like Carlton fans (and then in the end -everyone- at the football despite their allegiance, which was nice) used to do for Ang Christou...

Out of interest, CLICK HERE if you are curious about what happened to Ang. I found this whilst searching on google to sanity check the spelling of his name.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

The cricket chant propbably wouldn't work because the game is too fast. That starts inbetween balls when the fielders are just pacing around. I like the idea of "Hall" and "Magic" whenever they get the ball.
